Camp Bow Wow Woodstock is seeking motivated pack leaders who enjoy working with dogs in a fast-paced environment. We provide a fun, safe, upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention!
General Purpose:
Supervising and ensuring the safety of customers' dogs.
PHYSICAL DEMAND LEVEL - HIGH
Essential Skills Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality. Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills! Must be detail-oriented, good-listener, and a fast-learner.
MUST LOVE DOGS
- the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!!!!!!!!
Must be able to:
Stand for long periods of time, up to and including an entire work shift Frequently bend and stoop at the waist\torso Lift at least 50 lbs Reliable transportation required
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate Dog Behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs. Monitor play yards for dogs of all sizes; Maintain continuous focus and attention on dog interactions; Observe and learn animal behavior; Perform dog baths, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks; Perform dog health checks throughout the day; Clean play yards, cabins, and all common spaces; Perform janitorial duties such as restocking supplies, taking out the trash, and basic kennel maintenance; Attend additional training as management deems necessary.
Entertaining and monitoring daycare and boarding dogs ('Campers') in our open-play indoor and outdoor play areas
Clean play yards, cabins and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing.
Perform dog baths, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks.
Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times. Evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs to complete the initial dog screening evaluations, also called "Interviews."
Maintain continuous focus and attention on dog interactions to prevent fights and injuries.
Observe and learn animal behavior and signs of aggression in order to appropriately assign dogs to the proper play yards, which will require listening and distinguishing between dog vocalizations, distress barks, aggression, etc.
Perform dog health checks throughout the day.
Attend additional training as management deems necessary.
Requirements At least 18 years or older. Weekends and holidays are a must. Must be okay to undergo a background check and drug screen.
Positions available:
Full Time (5 - 6 shifts a week: 40 hours) Weekends and holidays are mandatory! Part time (2-4 shifts a week:30 hours) Weekends and holidays are mandatory!

$12.50 - $15.00 per hour
