Alexander, IA Job Description The Production Associate is responsible for the production and warehousing of seed. Must be able to multitask and work efficiently as part of a team. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Adheres to Latham Quality safety and quality standards Conditions and packages soybean seeds for commercial use Treats soybean seeds for commercial use Efficiently manages inventory and coordinates shipments in and out of the warehouse Ensures accuracy and efficiency in the movement of goods within the organization Complies with Latham Quality personnel policies Performs other duties as assigned What skills are we looking for? Able to climb grain bins; not afraid of heights Attentive to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with computers Cooperative and willing to assist others Well-organized Ability to prioritize work and plan ahead Interested in working as part of a team Ability to work under pressure Problem-solving skills Minimum job requirements: High School graduate or equivalent An agricultural background is helpful but not required Forklift experience preferred Physical demands and working conditions? Able to lift at least 50 pounds Able to carry boxes and packages of supplies Able to work regular hours as well as some weekends, after hours, holidays, and seasonal overtime
