Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled warehouse assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with both power and hand tools. Responsibilities Maintaining Warehouse clean equipment organize and maintain tools ensure products are in the right location keeps floors clean Maintaining Grounds grass manicured and sprinklers maintained weed prevention and control clean building clean and presentable property perimeter Production Line safely and efficiently operate all equipment: scales, bagger, stenciler, forklift, wrapper run small lot batches independently palletize and label finished product Receiving ensure inbound products are weighed and documented accurately product stored in correct location paperwork completed and filed to accurate location BOL double checked with product received Deliveries selecting accurate product based on pick list paperwork completed, organized, and filed strong customer service ensure product safety: straps, tarped, no damage, etc. Requirements Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and shipping processes. Ability to safely operate forklifts; certification is a plus but not required at hiring (training may be provided). Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
