Your Responsibilities Include:
🔹 Preparing products by skid, crate, or box for shipment 🔹 Processing routine and standard shipping paperwork 🔹 Maintaining a clean and safe work environment through proper storage and disposal of materials 🔹 Supporting assembly teams through: Repackaging Kitting Material staging 🔹 Safely removing and disposing of: Wood Plastic Metal Other packaging materials 🔹 Using SAP to: Update storage bin information Locate and identify materials 🔹 Completing routine inspections of material handling equipment 🔹 Packing products for shipment 🔹 Receiving, unloading, loading, and staging incoming materials 🔹 Visually inspecting incoming parts and moving them to receiving areas 🔹 Moving materials in and out of assembly work areas using forklifts and cranes 🚜 Forklift & Equipment Operation This is a versatile warehouse position , not a full-time forklift role.
You'll Operate:
✅ Turret Truck Forklift (Very Narrow Aisle) ✅
Sit-Down Forklift Important:
You must be comfortable working at heights Turret truck operators are lifted into the air while picking orders Candidates cannot have a fear of heights Forklift operation typically makes up 10-20% of the workday after training and certification
Additional Equipment Responsibilities:
✔ Transport picked orders from racks to shipping ✔ Load and unload trucks daily ✔ Move scrap bins to designated unloading areas and dispose of materials properly ✔ Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments 🚚 Shipping & Receiving Operations Daily Logistics Activity 📦 Receive approximately 3-4 inbound trucks per day 📦 Load approximately 2 outbound trucks per day
Responsibilities Include:
Unloading trucks according to established procedures Loading outgoing customer shipments Staging received materials Supporting inventory accuracy and warehouse flow ✅
Required Qualifications We're Looking For Candidates Who Have:
✔ Previous sit-down or stand-up forklift experience ✔ Comfortable working at heights ✔ Willingness to perform a variety of warehouse duties beyond forklift operation ✔ Ability to work in an environment where there may be odors from paint and oil ✔ Strong safety mindset ✔ Ability to wear required PPE including: Steel-toe shoes Safety glasses ⭐ Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Shipping & Receiving experience Turret Truck Forklift experience Inventory management experience Bill of Lading (BOL) experience Experience handling shipping paperwork and inventory documents 🏭 Work Environment Flender offers a professional, organized, and employee-friendly workplace.
