Job Description

Propane Clamp Forklift Operator Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Clamp Forklift Operator. This role is responsible for operating propane clamp forklifts, handling inventory movement, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring products are stored, picked, and shipped accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a clamp-type forklift. Move merchandise throughout the warehouse and accurately track inventory using RF scanners. Follow established work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily assignments. Record productivity and indirect time in a timely manner. Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and federal, state, and local regulations. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts while ensuring accuracy in stock auditing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Help maintain warehouse security and conduct all operations in a manner that promotes workplace safety. Participate in all required training programs and apply learned procedures on the job. Perform additional forklift-related responsibilities when case-picking work is completed. Complete other duties and special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Experience operating a propane clamp forklift. Ability to meet medium-level physical exertion requirements, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a large logistics, warehouse, or distribution center environment. Knowledge of RF scanning systems and warehouse inventory management processes. Basic math, reading, and documentation skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Experience handling appliances and consumer electronics is a plus. Physical Requirements Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 25 to 55 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing more than 75 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, reach, walk, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods. Work Environment Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Exposure to varying temperatures depending on season and warehouse conditions. Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with productivity expectations and established timelines. Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence is required.
