Temp-to-Hire Adecco is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker for a company in Machesney Park, IL! This position involves picking small parts using a pick list and scanner, verifying order accuracy, and entering information into a computer system. Attention to detail is critical, as accurate data entry is used to generate customer invoices. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organized, detail-oriented work and is looking for a long-term position. The goal is to hire the right candidate on permanently after approximately six months, with a pay increase upon hire-in.

Responsibilities:

Pick customer orders using provided pick lists and a scanner. Verify item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities for accuracy. Use a weighing/counting scale to verify quantities of small parts. Accurately enter item numbers and processed orders into the customer's computer system. Perform daily cycle counts as assigned. Place picked parts into totes for delivery to Woodward. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the order fulfillment process.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter and distinguish between similar eight-character item numbers. Basic math skills to verify quantities and counts. Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift. Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently.

Work Environment:

Pay Details:
