BSME provides threaded rods used in seismic and wind tie-down systems, and straight and bent anchors in concrete. You will be a key member of our Production Line, playing a pivotal role in setting up, operating, and maintaining wire-drawing and thread-rolling equipment. Your contributions will directly impact the production of high-quality threaded rods for various applications.
Team Size:
12 members (smaller operation)
Shifts:
5am - 1:30pm or 11:30am - 8pm
Salary Range:
$19-21 per hour (based on specific threaded rod experience)
Note:
This job can be intense. It is dirty, oily, and hard labor. If must be comfortable getting your hands dirty and oily. Summer are hot and winters are cold.
Responsibilities:
Perform various tasks on the production line, including assembly, packaging, and quality control Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Immediately report any issues or concerns to management
Qualifications:
Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 30 pounds Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Basic math skills - ability to use a measuring tape Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes Willingness to be cross-trained on different machines (essential for your success) Strong work ethic, dependable, punctual, and with a positive attitude Ability to work well in a small team environment High school diploma or equivalent Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
