Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Freezer Associate and become an essential part of our cold storage operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for handling frozen goods with precision and care, ensuring seamless warehouse distribution, accurate order fulfillment, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport frozen products safely within the warehouse. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for barcode scanning, inventory tracking, order picking, and order packing to ensure accurate fulfillment. Perform order picking and packing with attention to detail, ensuring correct items are selected and securely packed for shipment. Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to maintain accuracy. Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to manual handling guidelines, and operating heavy equipment responsibly in the cold environment. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Support quality control measures by inspecting products for damage or discrepancies before packing or shipping. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, or distribution centers. Certification or experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and RF scanners used for logistics. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting in a cold freezer environment while maintaining safety standards. Strong organizational skills with basic math proficiency for inventory counting and data entry. Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and PPE use in cold storage settings. Prior experience working with warehouse supervision or managing warehouse distribution processes is a plus.
