Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, using hand trucks and forklifts to transport incoming, in-process, and outbound products. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, organization, and quality while ensuring smooth workflow within the plant. The Material Handler should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Job duties include:

Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves. Transport materials within the facility as directed. Follow supervisor's instructions to complete various material handling tasks. Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions. Assist with process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Material Handler Requirements:

Several years of forklift experience. Strong understanding of safe material handling practices. Excellent organizational and housekeeping skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
