Performing a variety of tasks to facilitate operation of the hatchery including but not limited to: cleaning incubators, counting eggs/chicks, separating/culling chicks, assisting vaccinators, loading/unloading eggs, and keeping work areas clean/organized. Adheres to all safety requirements, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Participates in Company and department safety programs.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to work with others in a close environment. Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality. Ability to work quickly and multitask.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Exposed to temperatures up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity up to 100%. Exposed to chemicals and vaccines to be covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications. Use of personal protective equipment as required. Ability to lift 40 lbs. to a height of 6 feet, to push 75 lbs. a distance of 75 feet and lift 20 - 25 lbs. to a height of 3 feet. Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environment. Must be able to use a broom, shovel, mop, and scrub brushes.
