Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking a diligent and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The role involves stacking, sorting, and labeling boxes, loading and unloading trucks, organizing products within the warehouse, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Additional duties may be assigned by the production lead or warehouse supervisor. Responsibilities Stack, sort, and label boxes efficiently. Load and unload trucks with care. Organize products in the warehouse for easy access and inventory management. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned by the production lead or warehouse supervisor. Essential Skills Experience in general labor and production tasks. Proficiency in loading/unloading and packaging. Ability to handle materials and inventory efficiently. Skill in order picking and packing using RF scanners. Effective communication skills. Work Environment The role is based in a warehouse and production environment, operating from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays required. Dress code is casual, focusing on safety and practicality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Metairie, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
