Masis Staffing Solutions is hiring a Pressroom Material Handler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fitchburg, MA.

$19.00/hour (W2)

Shift:

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 40 hours/week

On-site in Fitchburg, MA Job Summary The Pressroom Material Handler supports production by moving and staging materials throughout the pressroom. This role ensures press operators have the correct supplies, helps prevent production errors, and keeps work areas organized and safe. Key Responsibilities Move raw materials (paper, sheets), pallets, and finished product throughout the pressroom. Load/unload and transport materials using pallet jack/hand truck; operate a forklift when authorized. Supply press operators with required materials based on the production schedule. Remove completed work from presses and move it to the correct staging/production area. Verify materials and job information to help prevent production errors.

•Organize, stage, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment or next production step.

• Perform basic material counts and report shortages/damages/discrepancies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; follow all safety rules and company policies. Assist press operators and production team as needed. Qualifications 1+ year of material handling/warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred. Printing/pressroom experience is a plus. Forklift experience/certification is a plus (as needed/authorized). Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Pre-Employment Requirements Background check and drug screening required.
