In this vital role, you will be responsible for receiving new/ used furniture, and other customer product as directed. Warehouse material handler is responsible for handling the daily responsibilities of issuing and receiving materials to appropriate department or company/ vendor vehicle. This position offers an exciting opportunity while contributing to the success of a thriving company. Responsibilities Provides the highest level of customer service at all times Provides the highest level of customer service at all times Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures. Schedule inbound deliveries. Unload/load company assets and verify all shipments Maintain files on all customer orders. Scan in and place all orders in warehouse location. Pull orders to be loaded out and delivered. Prep for loading on trucks Available to work overtime on immediate notice and work flex hours based on business needs. Operate company vehicles as needed. Engage and promote others and participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Basic mechanical skills (working with tools, etc.) Positive attitude, flexible, good customer relations. Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team, supervisor, and other company personnel. Neat, clean and professional. Attention to detail and ability to follow special instructions. Work independently and stay focused to complete assigned task. Furniture assemble and modification skills. Familiarity with data entry, filing and record keeping. Strong knowledge with Windows based computer operating systems and software. Physical Requirements 70% Standing, benching, reaching, kneeling. 30% Walking Ability to life 50+pounds
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
