CHEP is seeking a Pallet Repair Operator to join our Warehouse & Manufacturing team in our Manufacturing operation. In this hands-on role, you will inspect, repair, and sort wooden pallets using hand and power tools, helping keep our sustainable pallet pool in top condition. You'll work on-site in a fast-paced, safety-first environment, following strict quality and PPE standards while meeting daily productivity targets. Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and rebuild wooden pallets to CHEP quality standards Sort, stack, and move pallets safely in a warehouse environment Operate basic hand and power tools and material-handling equipment Follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping procedures Record production data using basic systems or scanners Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets Report damaged equipment or safety hazards promptly Support continuous improvement and 5 S activities Required Skills Pallet repair and rebuilding Use of hand and power tools Warehouse operations Forklift and pallet jack operation Quality inspection Basic equipment maintenance Safety and PPE compliance Manual material handling Reading work orders and labels Basic computer or scanner use
