We are looking for a hard working people to join our crew performing a variety of general labor assignments throughout the marina. The right candidate may or may not have marine experience but is looking to learn new skills this year. We are committed to train the right motivated candidates to develop a broad skill set in the marine trades and invest in them by providing access to additional education and certification. We take pride in maintaining a workplace where employees can learn, grow, and build long-term careers. What You'll Do Work year-round, full time, M-F 7a-330p, plus extended time during peak times. Part-time, seasonal is an option if interested. Assist with a wide range of boatyard operations including maintenance, and seasonal services like yard maintenance, boat cleaning and bottom painting, launch and haul services, assisting customers and crew. Work alongside experienced technicians to learn systems and tasks such as sanding, varnish, painting, mechanical, electronics, sailboat rigging, composites, boat operation, and so much more Train and certify for use of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, work boats and trucks, fork trucks, boom, loader, travel lifts, and more Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must have the physical ability to crawl, stoop, bend, climb, lift 50 lbs, reach overhead for extended periods, work outside in varying weather conditions, be safety conscious, speak English, and have a driver's license What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to detail and pride in work Willingness to learn, easily take direction, ask questions for clarification Positive mind-set, team-oriented Creative, problem solver, efficient Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in any trade is a plus but not necessary, including - construction, automotive, etc. What We Offer Opportunity to learn marine trades on the job and gain education and certification offsite Supportive, fun, family-oriented, lots of laughs, greatest customers, working outside, osprey and bald eagles, Friday boat rides, striper fishing, AI will not replace you here, and you must love dogs Competitive pay and affordable benefits, discounts, and fun outings 7am-330pm M-F, year-round, plus overtime hours during peak times.
