Scionsteel.com General laborers are vital in maintaining smooth operations within our facility. Responsible for a variety of manual tasks as directed by their supervisor, their dedication and hard work are essential to supporting the flow of production. We appreciate their commitment and teamwork in helping us achieve our operational goals. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets Delivers metal parts or stock to designated work areas for machining Parts cleaning Pull inventory based off given work orders or instruction by management Various help around the shop in all different areas as directed by the supervisor Operating the Saw Operate heavy machinery and equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to move and position steel. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.

Qualifications:

At least 1-2 years hands-on experience working in a steel fabrication facility. Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes. Ability to read tape measure. Capable of reading and understanding work orders. Proficient in use of hand tools

Schedule:

8-10 hour shift

Morning Shift:

6:00am - 4:30pm Evening shift: 4:00pm - 2:30am Monday to Friday, sometimes Saturday.
