Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE
Perform site janitorial duties, and general laborer duties as required. Assist with site clean-up, snow removal, painting, and minor maintenance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Offices, restrooms, dry's, and lunchrooms in a clean and orderly fashion. Operates vacuums, floor cleaning tools, mops, brooms, and other cleaning equipment. May be required to operate skid steers, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, snowplows, snow blowers, and salt spreaders to remove snow from walkways, roadways, and parking lots. Operates sweepers and forklifts as needed Performs or assists with minor facilities maintenance needs. Performs routine cleanup of required areas. Completes daily Pre-Task Hazard Assessments, daily inspections of work area and corrects any potential hazards. May be required to train or assist in training of others. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous industrial janitorial, laborer, and small mobile equipment experience preferred. Valid Michigan driver's license required.

HSEC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Report, as soon as practicable to their Manager any situations where HSEC requirements are not being conformed to within their work area Avoid endangerment to any other person through any act or omission Only use equipment you are trained to use and operate the equipment in a way that is safe, protects the environment and doesn't cause undue community impacts. Participate in HSEC training provided to them Report all incidents; including but not limited to injuries, near miss, community interactions and impacts, environmental impacts, spills, unsafe work practices, etc.
