Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Overview A manufacturing and fabrication operation in Chesaning is seeking dependable General Laborers for a short-term project. Employees will assist the production team with general labor, material handling, work-area organization, and fabrication-machine support. Candidates with welding or fabrication experience may qualify for a higher hourly rate based on their capabilities and compensation requirements. Key Responsibilities Assist employees working with fabrication and production machinery. Load, unload, move, and organize materials and finished components. Stage materials, tools, and supplies for production. Support basic assembly and fabrication-related tasks. Handle, sort, stack, and transport materials throughout the facility. Use basic hand and power tools when trained and authorized. Remove scrap, debris, and unused materials from production areas. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free workstations. Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced production employees. Comply with all safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements. Help the production team complete project goals within the required timeline. Perform other general manufacturing and labor duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous general labor, warehouse, construction, production, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality throughout the assignment. Ability to work safely around fabrication and production equipment. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Willingness to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the full 2-3-week project. •Qualified welding or fabrication candidates may be considered for higher-level responsibilities and increased compensation.•#TUG17
