$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Position Summary Bell Forest is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders from start to finish, including pulling products, quality control, packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for pickup or delivery. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, works efficiently in a physical environment, and understands that careful order fulfillment and professional customer service are essential to our success. Key Responsibilities Pull and verify customer orders accurately and efficiently. Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and condition before shipment. Package orders securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit. Measure, weigh, and prepare shipments for delivery. Print and apply shipping labels and required documentation. Load and unload materials, products, and shipments safely and efficiently. Maintain an organized and clean shipping and work area. Assist with inventory organization and product handling as needed. Communicate effectively with coworkers, management, customers, carriers, and other business partners. Resolve order or shipping discrepancies promptly and communicate issues to the appropriate team members. Follow company procedures and safety guidelines for material handling, packaging, and shipping. Perform other warehouse and shipping-related duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move heavy items. Ability to perform loading and unloading tasks efficiently and safely. Basic math skills, including the ability to accurately calculate weights, measurements, quantities, and dimensions. Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with computers, printers, shipping software, and other basic technology. Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organized, and committed to doing the job right. Attention to detail is critical, as every order must be pulled, inspected, packaged, and shipped accurately. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items safely. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to safely load and unload products and shipments. Ability to work in a warehouse/shipping environment and safely handle products and packaging materials. 401K after 6 months. Paid vacation after 1 year. •We offer a 4-day work week in which 36 hours worked = 40 hours paid. Current schedule is either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 9 hours per day. This gives you a 3-day weekend every week.
