Full Job Description Position Summary:

The General Labor position supports multiple areas of our manufacturing operation. Responsibilities include organizing and cleaning the shop, cleaning equipment, deburring parts, and assisting our laser, machine shop, assembly, and shipping departments as needed. This is a hands-on position for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

Organize and maintain cleanliness throughout the shop. Clean and maintain equipment and work areas. Deburr and prepare manufactured parts. Assist the laser department, machine shop, assembly, and shipping departments as needed. Operate hand drills, saws, manual mills, radial arm saws, grinders, hi-los, cranes, and floor scrubbers. Read engineering drawings to properly process manufacturing parts. Follow ISO quality standards. Identify and report issues to the department lead or Manufacturing Manager. Maintain equipment and keep assigned work areas clean and organized. Perform additional manufacturing support duties as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and models. Ability to read tape measures and other measuring devices. Ability to safely operate basic shop equipment, including manual mills, grinders, saws, and hand tools. Ability to safely operate a hi-lo and overhead crane. Ability to properly secure loads and safely pull a trailer. Basic computer skills. Basic mechanical aptitude. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Hardworking and self-motivated. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others. Ability to maintain a steady work pace while bending, lifting parts repeatedly, and standing for extended periods. Ability to safely lift 40-50 pounds. Valid driver's license required.
