Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments from suppliers
  • Inspect and verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or invoices
  • Sort, label, and organize received items in designated storage areas
  • Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or other tracking systems
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments for customers or other departments
  • Perform order picking and packing duties as needed
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts to move items within the warehouse
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
  • Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations, including MRP systems and AS400
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts (certification preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying received items and updating inventory records
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively sort, label, and store items in designated areas
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
