Job Description
Warehouse Associate We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse activities to ensure an efficient and organized warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming trucks
- Receive inventory into QuickBooks
- Organize stock and move materials to maximize warehouse storage space
- Routine stock counts
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Daily staging of product needed for upcoming install or service orders
- Return of unused installation parts to stock
- Documents all inventory that is pulled for transfer to other locations and records serial numbers
- Assist with product returns to vendors for defective or damaged product
- Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate quantity on hand
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate ground and building maintenance and ensure warehouse is clean and safe
- Backup for scheduling
- Assist technicians on occasion
- Other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience
- Able to move or lift heavy objects and operate a forklift
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and computer skills
- QuickBooks experience preferred but not required
