Warehouse labor including forklift operation and skid steer operation.. pay starting at 18/ hr Duties Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of raw materials and finished products within the plant using forklifts and other equipment. Support the operation of machinery involved in peat processing, including basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the plant to ensure compliance with safety regulation. Monitor production lines for quality assurance, ensuring products meet established quality standards in production and food safety management. Follow safety standards in production by wearing appropriate PPE, adhering to safety procedures, and reporting hazards promptly. Assist with packaging operations, including preparing materials for shipment and ensuring proper labeling according to regulatory standards. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge related to plant machinery operation and basic troubleshooting is advantageous. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory and quality control purposes. experience operating forklifts safely within a manufacturing setting is desirable. Strong understanding of safety standards in production, sanitation practices, and managing production or assembly teams if applicable. Excellent communication skills for managerial communication and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.
