We purchase and resell a wide variety of liquidation inventory, including tools, outdoor equipment, appliances, hardware and other home-improvement merchandise. This is a hands-on position for someone who stays productive, works well independently and is willing to handle different tasks throughout the day. Primary Responsibilities Sort and organize incoming inventory Inspect merchandise for damage, missing parts and overall condition Test products to determine whether they function properly Clean products and prepare them for sale Research products using a smartphone or computer Take clear photos and create accurate Facebook Marketplace listings Label, price and organize inventory Load, unload and move merchandise throughout the warehouse Help transfer inventory between the warehouse and retail store Stock and organize store shelves and displays Break down boxes, remove trash and maintain a clean warehouse Occasionally assist customers at the retail store Complete other warehouse or store tasks as needed Occasionally help set up, sell merchandise and break down at swap meets or other off-site sales events Management will handle Marketplace messages, payments and customer transactions. The employee will be responsible for researching products, photographing them and creating accurate listings. Requirements Fluent English required; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus Hardworking, dependable and consistently on time Able to remain productive without constant supervision Comfortable using a smartphone and basic computer programs Able to follow directions and accurately document product condition Able to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the workday Able to regularly lift approximately 80 pounds and help move heavier merchandise when needed Comfortable working in hot, cold and changing warehouse temperatures Willing to perform cleaning, trash removal and other physical warehouse duties Honest and careful when inspecting, testing and describing merchandise Professional and helpful when interacting with customers Preferred but Not Required Knowledge of or interest in tools, outdoor equipment, appliances or home-improvement products Warehouse, inventory, retail or resale experience Experience testing or troubleshooting tools and equipment Forklift or pallet-stacker experience Experience creating Facebook Marketplace or other online listings Who Would Be a Good Fit? The ideal candidate is reliable, works at a steady pace, pays attention to detail and takes pride in keeping things clean and organized. You should be comfortable switching between physical warehouse work, product inspection, online listings, stocking merchandise and occasional customer service. This is not a desk job. Some days will involve cleaning, testing and listing products, while others may involve unloading inventory, moving pallets, breaking down boxes, stocking the store or working in changing temperatures.
