This temp role supports medical device production by managing accurate material storage, retrieval, and packaging. Located on-site, it offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Material Handler I Responsibilities:
Pick, stage, and deliver materials to manufacturing lines based on work orders and schedules. Perform transactions in ERP/MRP systems to move inventory and fulfill work orders. Support physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure high accuracy. Properly label, store, and maintain traceability of materials following
FDA, ISO
13485, and GMP standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to handle materials safely and efficiently.
Material Handler I Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with basic understanding of English and mathematics. 1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or shipping/receiving. Familiarity with work order documents, packing slips, and labels. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material-handling equipment safely. Preferred experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or defense.
