Job Description
Position Summary Pure Functional Foods is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support our Warehouse Manager with the daily operations of our warehouse. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Responsibilities As a Warehouse Clerk, you will: Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations. Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming raw materials and finished goods. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Safely load and unload trucks. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments using packing slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and purchase orders. Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or shortages promptly. Organize inventory and rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training available). Maintain warehouse cleanliness while following company safety procedures. Support SQF, food safety, GMP, and quality standards. Assist with inventory audits and warehouse documentation. Communicate effectively with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other departments. Learn warehouse procedures, inventory software, and company systems. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization and efficiency. Provide additional warehouse support during busy production and shipping periods. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Preferred Two or more years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience. Experience using ERP systems, inventory management software, or warehouse databases. Manufacturing or food production experience. Forklift experience (certification is a plus; training available).
