Job Description
A&R Building Supply a family owned lumber yard open 7 days a week is looking for a Lumberyard Associate.
Duties:
- Assist in Wood Shop as needed.
- Pulling and staging lumber loads for delivery.
- Assisting customers loading materials into their vehicles.
- Unloading delivery trucks and stocking incoming merchandise.
- Operating a forklift to load, unload, and stock building materials.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and use.
- Lumber and building material knowledge.
- Ability to use a forklift.
- Consistently lift items up to 80 pounds.
- Frequently bend, squat, lift, push and pull when loading/unloading trucks, etc.
- Work outside in various conditions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
