Job Description
Overview We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team on either first shift or mid-shift.
First Shift:
8am- 4:30pm, Monday
Friday Mid Shift:
1:30pm-10pm, Monday-Friday Job Summary Primarily responsible for picking and staging orders in Ole Smoky Distillery's Supply Chain Warehouses. Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Follows all safety work environment rules and policies within the warehouse and loading dock area.
- Operates pallet jack and forklift equipment.
- Picks and stages orders for shipment using the handheld device.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Follows SOPs.
- Clearly communicates any issues with Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- Responsible or order accuracy. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Takes initiative.
- Ability to be flexible when needed.
- Knowledge of general Warehouse processes.
- Communicates effectively.
- Strong reading, writing and math skills Working Conditions (Physical, Environment & Schedule Expectations)
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or listen to others.
- Required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for the duration of the shift.
- May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Two Different Shifts Available
- 8am•4:30pm, Monday•Friday 1:30pm-10pm, Monday-Friday • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
