Dock Hand - Seasonal Freedom Boat Club | Emerald Point Marina and Sandy Creek Marina Spend the Summer on the Water Freedom Boat Club, the nation's leading private boat club, is seeking dependable, service-oriented individuals to join our Dock Staff team in A ustin . This seasonal, member-facing role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, interacting with members, and being part of a safety-focused team in an outdoor, waterfront environment.

Schedule Requirements Seasonal position:

Through November Minimum of 2 shifts per week Weekend and holiday availability required Schedule may vary based on weather and member demand Key Responsibilities Previous boating experience is a plus, but not required. Successful Dock Staff demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, adaptability, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver outstanding member service by greeting members professionally and creating a positive dockside experience Support daily dock and fleet operations , including preparing boats for departure and assisting members boarding and disembarking Promote and uphold safety standards through pre- and post-departure safety and equipment checks Assist with navigation and local knowledge , becoming familiar with local waterways and destinations Maintain fleet cleanliness and appearance by cleaning and detailing boats and dock areas Contribute to a team-oriented culture by working collaboratively with fellow Dock Staff and supervisors Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license Ability to perform light maintenance tasks Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 30+ lbs, board vessels, secure lines, and perform cleaning tasks NASBLA Boater Safety Certification required ( Certification will be provided for candidates if not already obtained) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus tips Seasonal employment in a fast-paced, waterfront environment Spend the season working on the water while building transferable customer service, teamwork, and operational skills!
