Job Summary The Head Loader will lead and coordinate daily loading and unloading activities for steel pipe and tubular products while ensuring shipment accuracy, material traceability, and compliance with customer and transportation requirements. Pay $19- $20 per hour Shift 7am to 7pm 7pm to 7am Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends. Duties Lead and coordinate daily loading and unloading activities for steel pipe and tubular products Direct forklift, crane, and wheel loader operators during loading operations Verify all customer orders prior to shipment Ensure proper loading, securing, and transportation preparation of pipe products Inspect loads for compliance with customer specifications and transportation requirements Coordinate loading of trucks, railcars, and containers Accurately tally pipe quantities during receiving, storage, and shipping operations Verify pipe lengths, diameters, wall thicknesses, schedules, grades, and quantities Record heat numbers, lot numbers, bundle numbers, and customer identification requirements Maintain accurate tally sheets and inventory records Ensure material traceability is maintained throughout all yard operations Reconcile physical inventory against shipping and receiving documentation Verify incoming and outgoing materials against bills of lading, packing lists, purchase orders, and customer orders Inspect pipe for proper identification, markings, damage, and specification compliance Confirm shipment accuracy before release Review Material Test Reports (MTRs) and supporting documentation when required Identify discrepancies and communicate issues to supervisors and warehouse personnel Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate Qualifications Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Pasadena for an in-person interview or call/text 346-388-2029.
