We perform precise engineering design for most of the major utility infrastructure projects handled by the electrical, water, and construction companies. We are headquartered in San Diego County with multiple locations in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange County that performs work throughout California.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Pull all permits at the city or county level online or in person. Schedule city/county inspectors Monitor all upcoming and in-progress projects. Assures timeliness by managing and monitoring permits throughout the entire permit cycle. Reviews accuracy in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Ensures that all permit records are stored properly. Coordinates permit as required with other departments and divisions within the department. Responds to inquiries or provides status and updates. Reviews policies, procedures, regulations, reports and legislations to determine permit handling. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma required.
  • Computer competency for data entry and the production of reports.
  • Prefer strong knowledge in the permit process.
  • Knowledge of traffic control, and utilities a plus, but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, QuickBase, and Ragic a plus, but not a requirement
  • Should have previous customer service experience
  • Clean driving record
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Qualified applicant must display a teamwork attitude, working well with others, as well as independently. Ability to stay focused and work diligently to meet deadlines. Able to adjust priorities on short notice and manage interruptions. Ability to coordinate workloads with your supervisor. Exhibit effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Maintain company confidentiality practices and policies. Interact professionally with all company personnel and outside persons. Ability to interpret and communicate intricate information properly and effectively. Comply with Company policies, procedures, as well as all relevant federal, state and local reporting requirements.
