We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, runs operations like a professional, and isn't afraid to grab a trash grab and get in there when the job demands it. The Role This is a split-role position: half supervisory, half hands-on labor. You'll manage and expand recycling and waste collection services at two premier Hilton Head accounts — Sea Pines Resort and Palmetto Bluff — while also coordinating and executing event-day operations across the island's signature events, including the RBC Heritage PGA Tournament, Hilton Head Motoring Festival, and the Hilton Head St. Patrick's Day Parade. What You'll Do Supervise 5-6 employees across two account locations, ensuring on-site quality, safety, and adherence to i2's 5-star service standards Perform physical collection, sorting, and site cleanup as needed — this is a working supervisor role, not a desk job Build on and expand existing recycling programs at Sea Pines and Palmetto Bluff; identify opportunities to increase diversion rates and improve service Coordinate event logistics for 20-25 events annually — from small community gatherings to large-scale events drawing up to 120,000 attendees Maintain open communication with account contacts at both properties to ensure expectations are met or exceeded Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and environmental standards Schedule & Compensation Full-time, averaging 32-40 hours per week Starting pay: $22-$26/hour based on experience Event bonuses available Separate event rate for after-hours and weekend event days Weekend and evening availability required (events are concentrated in spring and fall) Benefits Paid sick leave, vacation, and PTO Monthly medical stipend Monthly transportation stipend Uniforms and equipment provided Requirements Valid driver's license required Drug testing required MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check required No formal education required — experience in event coordination, solid waste/recycling, hospitality, or logistics is a plus Comfortable with physical labor — you don't have to be built like a linebacker, but you will be in the field alongside your crew Self-starter who can manage employees, juggle multiple accounts, and keep quality high without someone looking over your shoulder Background in recycling coordination, hospitality management, or event production is ideal, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn matters more To Apply Send your resume to or apply directly on Indeed. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Environmental Account & Event Supervisor to lead our environmental initiatives and manage large-scale recycling and waste management events. Join us as an Environmental Account & Event Supervisor to lead impactful environmental initiatives while fostering a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace!
