The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside the crew when needed while taking ownership of safe production, equipment uptime, material quality, inventory, and overall shredder performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily activities of the shredder crew, assigning work and establishing production priorities. Oversee daily shredder production to achieve safety, quality, volume, and efficiency targets. Remain actively involved in shredder operations and be capable of performing or supporting various crew functions as needed. Coordinate production schedules based on available inventory, sales requirements, and operational priorities. Monitor shredder performance and identify opportunities to improve throughput, recovery, efficiency, and uptime. Oversee preventive maintenance activities and work closely with maintenance personnel to address breakdowns, repairs, and parts replacement. Identify mechanical or operational issues and assist with troubleshooting when needed. Maintain strong quality-control standards for processed material and finished products. Monitor feedstock and finished-goods inventory to ensure appropriate material flow through the operation.
