Overview Join our dynamic Facilities Team as a Facilities Team Member and become a vital part of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities through hands-on cleaning, maintenance, and customer service. There will be additional landscaping work as needed. You will help set-up and breakdown for events such as Weddings, Birthday Parties and Corporate Events. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create an optimal space for employees, visitors, and clients alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in facilities maintenance while making a tangible impact every day. Duties Perform thorough cleaning tasks across various areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and sanitation tools to ensure a spotless environment. Handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures to maintain a secure workspace. Conduct custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain the property landscape through lawn care, foliage care, pruning and irrigation checks. Assist with facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting (residential or industrial), and upkeep of cleaning equipment. Operate heavy-duty tools and perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Support industrial cleaning projects and commercial cleaning operations with professionalism and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility-related inquiries or concerns from staff or visitors. Set-Up and Breakdown from Events. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, with familiarity in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures. Ability to handle chemical agents safely following safety protocol adherence at all times. Ability to work long hours outdoors on your feet. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Customer service skills that demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness in a team setting.
