Part time position (20-30 hours) with summer availability from 7:30- 5:30 and school year availability 2:00-7:00 JOB
SUMMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms and refilling needed supplies. Mopping of all hard surfaces each day. Shared indoor facilities are cleaned after every group's use Clean high touch surfaces every hour, including bathrooms, doorknobs, sinks, etc. Maintain a safe work environment Sanitize kids' supplies and equipment Perform daily sanitation of each room as advised by Unit Director Responsible for managing and maintaining a supply of cleaning chemicals. Assist with member drop off and pick up as requested by Unit Director Assist with staff lunch coverage if requested by Unit Director
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to work independently with good time management skills. Participate in activities to maintain good public relations including in-kind donation pickups if needed. Performs other duties as assigned by Unit Director and Area Manager Submit to a criminal background check and drug test.
REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and
ABILITIES
Must be 18 or older Commitment to the mission, objectives, policies, programs and procedures of Boys & Girls Clubs. Demonstrated ability to organize, direct and coordinate operations; in personnel supervision, facilities management; and budget management. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, members, community groups, and other related agencies. Demonstrates commitment by maintaining a consistent and dependable work schedule. Recognizes the relative importance of certain tasks and responsibilities. Reliable transportation.
