SEASONAL, ON-CALL

Snow Plow Operators and Salt Truck Operators to join our team. Applicants must live within 30 minutes of Grand Rapids. Do you have heavy equipment or snow plowing experience? If you answered yes to any of those questions, keep reading! Job Overview As a Snow Plow Operator for Oomkes Landscape Management, you will be responsible for ensuring the accessibility of our clients' parking lots or driveways (depending on the route), and all other necessary outdoor spaces that are communicated. We have tractor, loader, and truck positions available. Routes are approximately 5-6 hours long , BUT additional hours are typically available if desired and/or requested. Salt truck operators will be responsible for applying salt to clients parking lots and roadways as assigned. CDL A or B helpful but not required. Typically between 2 am and 7 am but daytime shift is a possibility as well. Here at Oomkes Landscape Management, we are willing to work around other schedules (job and/or school). About You 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM (overnight) availability - some day positions available Cellphone with Data Clear Background Check Clean Drug Screening Physical & Mental Dexterity ( you will be working in cold, inclement weather ) Clean Driving Record Valid Michigan Driver's License Job Requirements Operate snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice from designated, assigned areas. Utilize tools for snow removal tasks. Ensure pathways (roads, driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, etc.) are clear for Oomkes Landscape Managements' clients. Maintain accurate records as necessary. Experience/Qualifications minimum of 1 year snow plowing or heavy equipment experience good stewardship of time, equipment, and tools
