Learn more at agragene.com. Position Summary The Operations Support Technician provides essential day-to-day support to our insectary team. In this hands-on role, you will maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked work environment so technical teams can operate efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around insects and in a laboratory setting. Whether you are looking for a reliable schedule during school hours, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a meaningful hands-on role in a clean environment, this position offers consistent part-time hours with a clear daily impact for a Company working on novel sustainable solutions for food production. Key Responsibilities Facility & Materials Preparation
          • Wash, clean, sanitize, dry, and prepare reusable laboratory and insectary materials.
          • Maintain cleanliness, order, and sanitation standards across insectary, prep, and common areas.
          • Safely dispose of biological waste and routine trash following established safety protocols. Inventory & Operational Support
          • Monitor, restock, and organize laboratory consumables, PPE, and operational supplies.
          • Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing incoming inventory; assist with periodic inventory counts.
          • Record cleaning routines, inventory movements, and preparation tasks in manual and electronic systems.
          • Promptly report damaged equipment, missing supplies, or facility discrepancies to management.
          Qualifications Required:
          • Minimum high school diploma required.

          • Prior experience in a lab, manufacturing, cleanroom, agricultural, or insectary setting.
          • Experience with sanitization protocols, inventory tracking, or formal recordkeeping in a regulated environment. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
          • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during shift.
          • Ability to lift and move supplies up to 30lbs.
          • Comfort working around biological materials, live insects, cleaning agents, and specialized lab equipment.
