Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Garbage Collector and help maintain clean, safe communities. This position involves operating waste collection trucks, collecting and transporting waste, following assigned routes, and maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate front loader, rear loader, and roll-off trucks. Collect, load, and transport residential and commercial waste. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues. Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures. Maintain accurate route and collection records. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Safely perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Qualifications Experience operating commercial or waste collection vehicles preferred. Valid CDL with air brake endorsement preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Basic mechanical knowledge and vehicle inspection skills. Ability to perform physical labor and heavy lifting. Dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working outdoors. Strong communication and customer service skills.
