Operations & Customer Service Coordinator - Wine Distribution 2 Tier Trading | American Canyon, CA - Onsite, Full-Time with Benefits About the Role 2 Tier Trading is a modern wine distributor reimagining how great brands reach the trade. We move fast, operate lean, and hold ourselves to a higher standard than traditional distribution. We're looking for an Operations & Customer Service Coordinator who keeps our fulfillment engine running without friction — and who understands that in wholesale, an order isn't paperwork, it's a sales commitment. What You'll Own Order Management & Fulfillment Order entry and management in Shopify (B2B wholesale environment) Inventory coordination with our warehouse — inbounds, stock levels, allocation, and availability Carrier scheduling and pickup coordination Real-time communication with the sales team on order status, timing, and exceptions Proactive resolution of holds, short-ships, or fulfillment issues before they reach accounts Account Onboarding Own the coordination and data entry of new account paperwork — credit applications, shipping profiles, and retail licenses Ensure new accounts are set up accurately in Shopify and ready to transact without delay Onboard new accounts on our preferred digital payment platform and order tools, including walkthrough support when needed Accounts Receivable Support Serve as the liaison between accounting and customers on billing and payment matters Manage customer requests for statements and invoices Send payment reminders and past-due notices through Shopify Provide hands-on support to accounts navigating the payment process when needed Sales Support Be available to support the sales team by delivering customer assets, pricing information, or account communications when reps are unavailable to respond in a timely manner Serve as a reliable bridge between sales and operations — ensuring accounts never fall through the cracks SKU & Inventory Coordination Coordinate with the brand team on new product launches — gathering product data and ensuring new SKUs are properly mapped and set up across inventory and sales systems Monitor par levels daily and flag critical stock thresholds to management before they become fulfillment problems Reconcile and manage inventory at the Zephyr warehouse, including inbound receipts, stock adjustments, and transfer requests What We're Looking For 2+ years in warehouse operations or operations management — hands-on warehouse and carrier coordination experience required; wine distribution background helpful but not required Experience with Shopify or a comparable e-commerce or order management platform preferred Demonstrated ability to support accounts directly — including by phone — to resolve issues, answer questions, and facilitate the order and payment process A sales-first, customer service-focused mindset: rep commitments to accounts drive your priorities, not just the order queue Sharp, proactive communicator — you close the loop without being asked, and you're comfortable communicating verbally with customers, salespeople, and teammates daily Meticulous attention to detail across data entry, account setup, and SKU management Thrives in a lean, high-accountability environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; occasional physical involvement in warehouse or inventory activities may be required What We Offer Full-time, onsite position Competitive salary commensurate with experience Full benefits package
