..This probably isn't it. At Ardan Med Spa, through Refer.io , we think the person at the front desk may be one of the most important people in the entire business . You're the first person our clients talk to. You're the first face they see when they walk in. And you're often the last interaction they have before they leave. That means you have an enormous impact on whether someone thinks: "That was fine." Or... "Holy cow. I love this place." We're looking for someone who wants to create the second experience.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Yes, there are traditional front desk responsibilities.
You'll:
Answer phones and messages Schedule appointments Welcome clients when they arrive Check clients out and process payments Help clients book their next appointment Schedule follow-up services Move clients into rooms and prepare them for services Show new clients around and explain how things work Help operate and coordinate some of our additional offerings Keep the client experience organized, smooth, and ridiculously easy But the real job is bigger than the checklist. Your job is to make people feel taken care of. Notice what they need. Remember them. Help them understand what happens next. Make booking easy. Make rebooking natural. Make sure nobody wanders out the door wondering what they're supposed to do next. You aren't just managing appointments. You're managing the experience.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You might currently work as a: Receptionist Front Desk Associate Customer Service Representative Salon or Spa Coordinator Retail Sales Associate Hospitality Associate Medical Receptionist Guest Experience Coordinator Your previous title matters a lot less to us than how you interact with people. We're looking for someone who: Genuinely likes people. Is warm, upbeat, and comfortable starting conversations. Can make someone feel welcome within about five seconds. Is organized enough to keep a busy schedule moving. Doesn't get rattled when the phone rings while someone is standing in front of them. Feels comfortable recommending the next appointment or service instead of just saying goodbye. Notices details. Takes ownership. And understands that great customer service isn't being nice... it's making things incredibly easy for the customer.
THIS ISN'T A NORMAL FRONT DESK JOB
We don't want someone whose goal is simply to "cover the desk." We want someone who becomes part of the reason clients come back. Someone who learns our clients. Someone who sees an empty spot on tomorrow's calendar and thinks, "Who should we get in here?" Someone who sees a client finishing an appointment and thinks, "What do they need next?" Someone who takes pride in creating an experience people tell their friends about.
COMPENSATION
This position includes: Hourly pay + performance-based bonuses Your bonus opportunity will be tied to the things that actually help create an amazing client experience and grow the business, including goals around booking, rebooking, follow-up, and other key customer experience metrics .
HOURS:
We're open to the right person working either part-time or full-time. Approximately 25-40 hours per week.
BENEFITS
We're building the kind of workplace we would actually want to work at.
Benefits include:
Paid time off House cleaning benefit Monthly massage Employee perks and access to select Ardan services Performance bonus opportunities A growing company where great people can take on more responsibility
THE PERSON WE WANT
This role is perfect for the person who has worked somewhere and thought: "I could make this experience so much better." Good. That's exactly what we want you to do. We want someone who cares. Someone who takes ownership. Someone who likes creating order out of chaos. Someone who can sell without feeling like a salesperson because they're simply helping people figure out what they need next. And someone who understands that sometimes the smallest interaction is what makes a customer decide they've found their place. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you. Apply Today!!
