Duties Lead and supervise the dispensary team, training, coaching, and evaluating staff performance. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating purchasing to ensure product availability. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to cannabis sales and dispensary operations. Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals while providing exceptional customer service. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Implement merchandising standards and organize product displays to optimize sales opportunities. Maintain accurate records of sales, payroll, bookkeeping tasks, and operational reports for management review. Skills Proven management experience within the retail industry, especially in sales team leadership and store supervision. Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage team dynamics. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, and vendor relations to maximize profitability. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions. Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and perform basic bookkeeping tasks. Leadership qualities with a focus on team development, operational management, and strategic planning. Familiarity with retail merchandising techniques and stock organization practices.
