Job Description Onsite Sales and Customer Service Manager - Precision Manufacturing Build customer relationships. Lead a responsive team. Help turn customer needs into reliable results.
Pay:
$120,000 to $130,000 annually

We manufacture complex, close-tolerance components where quality, traceability, and reliable delivery matter. We are seeking a Sales and Customer Service Manager to strengthen customer relationships, lead day-to-day customer support, and coordinate closely with our operations teams. The right person will understand both the customer's priorities and what it takes to deliver in a precision-manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop the sales and customer service team Serve as a key point of contact for customer relationships, concerns, and escalations Oversee timely, accurate responses to customer inquiries, orders, and requests for quotations Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Quality on pricing, capacity, lead times, and delivery commitments Monitor open orders and communicate changes or risks to customers promptly Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business Review sales activity, customer service performance, and account trends Improve processes for quotations, order entry, customer communication, and issue resolution Support contract reviews and ensure customer requirements are communicated to the appropriate teams Represent Midwest Precision professionally in customer meetings and business reviews Required Qualifications Experience leading sales, account management, or customer service teams in a manufacturing environment Strong customer relationship management and communication skills Experience with quotations, order management, pricing discussions, and customer escalations Ability to work across departments to resolve issues and meet customer commitments Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience using ERP and CRM systems and Microsoft Office A bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience with CNC machining, precision manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is preferred. ITAR Requirement This position may involve access to export-controlled information. The selected candidate must be eligible for access in accordance with applicable export-control requirements.
