While prior experience in material handling is not a prerequisite, the successful applicant will be expected to acquire sufficient technical knowledge to support the team, provide accurate product information, and assist in generating repair estimates and customer quotes, supported by our existing team of technical experts. Core Responsibilities Provide mentorship and professional development to our Field Service Technicians and Lead Technicians. Manage technician scheduling to ensure we consistently fulfill our commitments to clients. Foster a workplace environment centered on safety, clear communication, and high standards of accountability. Act as a key liaison for our clients, including conducting site visits when necessary. Collaborate with field staff to identify customer requirements and determine appropriate repair solutions. Gain proficiency in our technical offerings to help prepare service quotes and project estimates. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations. Help maintain a high level of team success by ensuring all technicians have access to necessary training and tools. Verify service documentation and authorize invoices before final billing. Provide operational support to the dispatch team as required. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by ensuring all service vehicles are properly cared for. Manage service agreements and nurture vital client relationships. Work alongside branch management to refine and improve our field service operations. Desired Qualifications Demonstrated history of successfully leading, mentoring, and growing professional teams. Background in managing workforces within fields such as industrial, mechanical, construction, transportation, or similar skilled trades. Strong organizational skills with a focus on effective scheduling and follow-through. Exceptional communication abilities when interacting with customers. Capacity to balance competing priorities while maintaining a focus on staff and client needs. A willingness to learn technical product details and industry-specific terminology. Ability to build rapport and earn the respect of a seasoned technical workforce. Strong analytical skills to help solve problems and make informed decisions. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team through a commitment to quality. Proficiency with standard computer software. Possession of a valid driver's license. Benefits begin the first day of the month following your date of hire. This position represents a great opportunity for professionals with backgrounds as a Service Manager, Field Service Supervisor, Operations Manager, Service Coordinator, Shop Manager, Fleet Service Manager, or other skilled-trades leadership roles who are looking to expand their responsibilities.
