Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the mobile service team, ensuring efficient scheduling and workflow. Lead service technicians by providing guidance on automotive diagnostics, repairs, and estimations. Oversee vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs. Utilize estimating software to prepare accurate repair estimates and facilitate upselling opportunities to enhance revenue. Ensure all service writing documentation is completed accurately and promptly for each vehicle serviced. Maintain excellent client communication by explaining repair procedures clearly and addressing customer questions or concerns. Monitor inventory levels of parts and tools necessary for mobile repairs; coordinate with suppliers as needed. Uphold dealership standards for quality control, safety procedures, and compliance with automotive repair regulations. Train and motivate team members to improve technical skills such as automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge. Handle cash transactions responsibly when applicable and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities. Requirements Proven experience in auto service management or a similar leadership role within a dealership or automotive repair environment. Strong mechanic experience with comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts. Proficiency with auto estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and services. Demonstrated ability in upselling services to maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining customer trust. Dealership experience preferred but not required; relevant service technician experience is highly valued. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
