Golf Course Cashier & Inventory Coordinator Position Summary The Golf Course Cashier & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while efficiently managing daily retail and concession transactions. This position also oversees inventory ordering and stocking of golf shop merchandise, golf balls, beverages, alcohol, snacks, and operational supplies to ensure the golf course remains fully stocked and prepared to meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately. Balance cash drawer and prepare daily sales reports. Assist customers with purchases, tee time inquiries, and general information. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting golf shop and concession area. Monitor inventory levels of golf balls, golf accessories, snacks, beverages, alcohol, and operational supplies. Order golf balls, golf shop merchandise, food, beverages, alcohol, and other supplies from approved vendors. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic inventory counts. Ensure alcoholic beverage sales comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including age verification procedures. Rotate stock and monitor product freshness to minimize waste. Work with management to maintain appropriate inventory levels and control costs. Assist with merchandising displays and seasonal product promotions. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Provide exceptional customer service to golfers and guests at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cashier, retail, hospitality, or golf course experience preferred. Experience with inventory management and ordering is preferred. Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must be eligible to serve alcohol in accordance with state and local regulations. Pay:
$10.00 - $15.00 per hour
