Airboat Adventures is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Guest Services Representative for our Lafitte location. This is an on-site, part-time position specifically for weekends and holidays. Applicants must be consistently available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and designated holidays. This is not a weekday position, and the weekend and holiday schedule is required.
Schedule:
Part-time weekends and designated holidays only Applicants must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
Summer Season:
Shifts vary between 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Winter Season:
Shifts vary between 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Scheduled hours will vary depending on tour demand, weather, and business needs
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and check them in for their tour Confirm reservations and provide accurate information about tours, schedules, and property policies Answer guest questions in person and by phone Process payments and handle cash accurately Assist guests with concerns using patience, professionalism, and good judgment Communicate with captains and other team members to help tours depart smoothly and on schedule Complete basic data entry and reservation-related tasks Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized check-in area Provide friendly and professional service in a busy, fast-paced tourism environment
Qualifications:
Must be consistently available on Saturdays, Sundays, and designated holidays Must have reliable transportation to our Lafitte location Dependable, punctual, friendly, and comfortable working with the public Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable learning reservation and payment-processing systems Able to remain calm and professional when assisting guests or resolving concerns Previous customer service, tourism, hospitality, retail, sales, or cash-handling experience is preferred Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team This position is ideal for someone seeking consistent part-time weekend work who enjoys meeting people and creating a positive guest experience.
Pay:
