This is not your average art job it's an opportunity to help people of all ages express themselves, de-stress, and have fun through the power of paint. As a Splat Artist, you'll guide guests through their one-of-a-kind splatter paint experience while ensuring the space stays clean, organized, and welcoming. Whether you're an artist, student, performer, or someone who simply loves making people smile, this is a great role for anyone who thrives in a lively, artistic, and people-centered environment.
Responsibilities Guest Experience:
Welcome guests, check them in, explain the splatter process, and ensure they feel comfortable and excited from start to finish.
Safety & Gear:
Provide ponchos, goggles, and shoe covers, making sure every guest is prepped for a mess-free, safe experience.
Prep & Cleanup:
Reset the splat room between sessions, clean splatter tools, refill paint bottles, and keep all materials organized and stocked.
Photo & Social Support:
Take high-quality before-and-after photos of guests and their artwork for social sharing and marketing.
Creative Engagement:
Explain splatter tools, offer painting tips, and help guests feel inspired while they create.
Studio Upkeep:
Keep the entire space clean and presentable — including the bathroom, hallway, check-in area, and storage.
Sales & Checkout:
Help guests check out, promote reviews, and answer any final questions with warmth and professionalism.
Community Outreach:
Distribute flyers and business cards when needed and support occasional pop-ups or events.
Walk-ins & Bookings:
Accept walk-ins and assist with making new bookings as needed. Required Skills & Traits A positive, upbeat attitude and love for engaging with people of all ages Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail, with a willingness to clean, organize, and take initiative Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, artistic environment Creative spirit — no need to be a professional artist, just someone who loves the arts and enjoys encouraging others Comfortable using a phone, iPad, and taking photos Dependable, punctual, and proactive Flexible and willing to work weekends (especially Saturdays and Sundays) Schedule & Availability Must be available Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM On-call, part-time, and weekend shifts available Weekend availability is especially important due to high foot traffic and private events Why Join Us?
