Job Description
-Permanent Jewelry Artist- BOHO GEM Jewelry Bar is hiring! I'm looking for a reliable, friendly, energetic person to help at an upcoming Washington County Fair and Rodeo. And Heart of Texas Fair & Rodeo near Waco, TX and other weekend events running Friday through Sunday. Hotel covered for Brenham,TX fair. Great commission opportunity. Must be able to commute back-and-forth to Waco on Oct 9th,10th, 11th,12. You can choose to stay in a hotel at your own expense. You can Google vendor hours to see what the hours will be. Excellent opportunity for large Commission for a great worker. (no set up or breakdown required.) This is a fun, fast-paced event environment and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys jewelry, fashion, and working with people! we will usually be there for set up and breakdown, but for some future shows our artist must operate independently. {Must be able to set up and break down a 6 foot table, 4 foot table, & folding desk when necessary. One hour paid for set up. 30 minutes pay for breakdown outside of vendor hours.} Pay 25% comission on total sales $15/hour + commission + tips Earn additional commission based on daily sales: 5% on sales over $1,000 7% on sales over $2,000 8% on sales over $3,000 10% on sales over $4,000 What You'll Do Greet and assist customers Help with permanent jewelry appointments Help manage the booth and customer line Package jewelry and restock supplies Keep the booth clean and organized Help with setup and breakdown Assist with customer service and sales Permanent jewelry experience is a plus, but not required! I can train the right person. Requirements Reliable and dependable Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Able to stand/sit for several hours Available for weekend work Honest and trustworthy Reliable transportation Sales or retail experience is a plus
