Mobile Spray Tan Artist (On-Call / As-Needed)

Arlington, VA area (majority of appointments), with some in Washington, DC About the Role We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Spray Tan Artist to provide mobile airbrush spray tan services to clients in their homes. The majority of appointments are in the Arlington, VA area, with some in Washington, DC. This role starts as an as-needed, fill-in position covering appointments when I'm unavailable — hours will fluctuate based on client demand. As the business grows, this role has the potential to expand into a hybrid mobile + studio position with regularly scheduled appointments.

What You'll Do Travel to clients' homes to provide professional airbrush spray tan services Pick up spray tan equipment and supplies before each appointment and return it afterward Set up and break down your spray tan station at each client location (tent/tarp, spray gun, ventilation, etc.) Consult with clients on skin tone, desired shade, and finish before each session Apply spray tans with clean, even coverage; perform contouring for clients who request it Provide clients with pre- and post-tan care instructions Maintain and sanitize all equipment between appointments Capture before/after photos or short video clips at appointments (with client permission) for use on our website and social media Communicate promptly to confirm, reschedule, or troubleshoot appointments as needed What You'll Need Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with airbrush spray tanning (required) Contouring experience (a plus, not required) Comfortable capturing photo/video content for website and social media (a plus, not required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable traveling to and working in clients' homes Living in the Arlington, VA area preferred, given most appointments are local to Arlington and DC Able to lift, carry, set up, and break down spray tan equipment Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor Flexible availability — this role fluctuates based on client bookings Reliable and punctual; comfortable working independently without direct supervision on-site Pay & Compensation $18/hour , paid for all appointment time 100% of tips — yours to keep Growth Opportunity This position is expected to start slow and build as the client base grows. If/when we open a studio location, there is potential to expand into a hybrid role covering both mobile appointments and in-studio bookings.
