Full Job Description Position:
Audio 2 Engineer - Part-Time/Non-Exempt Reports to:
Audio Manager Summary:
The Assistant Audio Engineer provides operational support for the planning, coordination, and execution of audio elements for Insignia Events. Working closely with the production team, this role helps ensure high-quality audio experiences across a diverse portfolio of events, including Arizona Cardinals home games, the Fiesta Bowl, other major sporting events, and a wide range of premier live events, programs, and guest experiences. The ideal candidate has experience supporting live sports and event production, a strong understanding of the operational demands of live events, and a solid working knowledge of professional audio systems and equipment. This individual is a collaborative team player who can adapt to changing event needs while helping deliver exceptional event experiences
Primary Job Duties:
Ability to understand, operate, trouble shoot, various audio systems and equipment Ability to mix audio with a multitude of source and destination types Assist with the operation of stadium audio systems during football games and other live events Strong understanding of audio signal flow and gain structure Ability to use various analog and digital audio mixers Safely assist with deploying various PA speaker systems Set up stands and microphones Other duties as assigned Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties and responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job. Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of Audio related work experience preferred A minimum of 1 years' experience in a large-volume, venue facility preferred Must be creative, innovative, passionate, results-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
Preferred experience with:
L'Acoustics Soundvision L'Acoustics Network Manager Digico consoles Yamaha consoles Audinate Dante Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a high stress, fast-paced, live production work environment High school Diploma Associates/Certificate in Audio Engineering Flexibility with work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
